Case Study: Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) – Ministry of PUPR

Client: Ministry of Public Works and Housing (Kementerian PUPR) – Balai Ambon

As a crucial government WTP Project Reference, this initiative focuses on providing reliable clean water supplies in frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged (3T) regions. Commissioned by the Ministry of PUPR, we constructed a complete Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) system on Tayando Island, Maluku.

This Water Treatment Project Experience encompasses the engineering of advanced membrane technology to convert high-salinity seawater into potable water. The scope of work included the construction of infiltration gallery intake facilities, reservoir tanks, and the main SWRO processing unit.

Industrial Water Treatment Portfolio: Palm Oil Mill Demineralization

Client: PT. Evans Indonesia (Palm Oil Mill)
Location: Musi Rawas, South Sumatra
Completion: January 2023
Capacity: 2 x 60 m³/hour

As a key highlight in the Mizui Osmosa Client List, we were entrusted by PT. Evans Indonesia in South Sumatra to handle vital factory water needs. We designed and installed a high-capacity Boiler Feed Water Demineralization plant (2 x 60 m³/hour).

Utilizing the Musi River as the raw water source, this system employs robust Ion Exchange technology to produce high-purity water. This project strengthens our reputation in handling large-scale Water Treatment Project Experiences, specifically designed to prevent scaling and corrosion in industrial steam turbines.

EPC Water Treatment & WWTP Project: Waskita Karya Power Plant

Client: PT. Waskita Karya
Location: Malinau, North Kalimantan
Completion: July 2020
Scope: Pre-treatment (45 m³/h), Demineralizer (2 x 2.4 m³/h), & WWTP (5 m³/h)

This project demonstrates our capacity as an Experienced WTP Contractor in the energy sector. Acting as a specialist partner for the state-owned enterprise PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, we executed an integrated EPC Water Treatment project for the Malinau Coal-Fired Power Plant (PLTU).

Our comprehensive solution included a Pre-treatment Unit, a Demineralization System for process cooling water, and a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to manage effluent discharge. This success adds to our extensive Water Treatment Portfolio in ensuring full compliance with strict heavy industry environmental regulations.
